Happy Monday everyone! This weekend was pretty uneventful. The hubby and I just caught up on our favorite TV shows on DVR: The Boss, Hell On Wheels, Sons of Anarchy, and Boardwalk Empire. If you have never seen any of these shows, then you don’t know what you are missing.
I love the weather this time of year, not too hot with a hint of a breeze. I was able to convince my husband to be my photographer today, after he came home from his Kung Fu class. He did a pretty good job. He did a whole lot of patting himself on the back while we were looking at the pictures on the computer. He was deep in character, standing on the bench and lying on the ground. That man always makes me laugh.
I know I will probably get a few questions about this Isabella Oliver Ruched Tank Dress, so I will give you the story behind why I am wearing a maternity dress while not pregnant. Two years ago when I was researching maternity fashion after reading Amy Tara Koch’s book, Bump it Up, I stumbled across Isabella Oliver. Their collection was like nothing I had ever seen in maternity fashion. I loved the idea of “displaying” the bump instead of “hiding” the bump. The side ruching accentuates the bump, making the pregnant woman look slimmer and sexy.
I signed up for their mailing list, just so I could dream of the maternity wardrobe that I would never be able to afford, as they are a little on the pricey side. To my disbelief, I opened an email advertising an end of season sale for up 70% off. I placed an order and received my package 3 days later. When I tried on several of the items, I was elated to discover that I would wear everything I ordered whether I was pregnant or not. This was one of my best clothing investments. I have many other Isabella Oliver pieces that I will be sharing with you.
Thank you so much for reading!

First off, you look gorgeous!! And I adore Isabella Oliver and honestly don’t think they work soley as maternity wear. I don’t even think most women would know that it was a maternity dress…it’s just beautiful!
