I will be posting reviews of each of these products when we began using them.
My husband and I are both into gadgets, so it was pretty exciting to be able to justify purchasing gadgets “for the baby”.
**UPDATE**
Since writing this post, the Angelcare Movement Monitor has been recalled. You can read about it here on CNN. There have been two deaths, one in 2011 and one in 2004 due to the strangulation from the cord of the sensor pad that is placed under the mattress. Both infants were able to pull the cord into the crib resulting in their fatalities. Yes, that is the same thing I was thinking! Why did it take so long for the monitor to be recalled? and Why have they been allowed to still sell the monitor and put other babies at risk? My heart goes out to both families. You buy a product that is suppose to save your baby’s life only to have that same product cause their death. Tragic!
It looks like my computer is acting up. apologies on the all caps. my computer is only showing everything in capitals.
I PERSONALLY HAVE USED THE ANGELCARE MONITOR AND PUMP IN STYLE METRO BAG. THE ANGELCARE MONITOR WAS GREAT HOWEVER, MY CHILDREN WERE NINJA BABIES AND WOULD MOVE OUT OF RANGE AND SET OFF THE ALARM AS THEY GOT MORE MOBILE. THAT DROVE ME NUTS YET THEY NEVER WOKE UP, BUT ME JUST CHECKING ON THEM? IMMEDIATELY AWAKE. THERE’S NOW A RECALL ON THEM SO I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO LOOK IT UP (http://angelcarebaby.com/usa_voluntary_recall/). PUMPING COMES WITH THE BREASTFEEDING TERRITORY AND THE MEDELA PUMP WAS RECOMMENDED BY MOST OF THE MOMS I KNEW. A BONUS WAS THAT IT WAS COVERED UNDER INSURANCE SO NO OUT OF POCKET FUNDS FOR ME TO BUY IT, ALONG WITH ALL OF MY NURSING ACCESSORIES! congrats on your new bundle, may you be enjoying every minute!
