A Beautiful Ruckus // the daily dani // Crowley Party // Wild & Precious // the Freckled Fox
Growing up, my mother was a single parent trying to take care of three children on her teacher’s salary. There were times when we didn’t have very much, but my mother pressed on and made it work somehow. As I look back on my childhood, we never were without everything we needed. In fact, as the years went by, we started doing better and better. My mother made many sacrifices when we were younger in order for us to have a better life later on; and it was well worth it. That was the best lesson I learned from her. I have the best mother and I wouldn’t trade her for all the money in the world. I am blessed to have her and I cherish each and everyday I have with her!

it’s really very basic but mom always told me never to go to bed without washing your face. i used to collapse in bed after a long night out and that’s what she’d always remind me about. i guess it works since her skin is flawless at 60!
