A Beautiful Ruckus // the daily dani // Crowley Party // Wild & Precious // the Freckled Fox
Growing up, my mother was a single parent trying to take care of three children on her teacher’s salary. There were times when we didn’t have very much, but my mother pressed on and made it work somehow. As I look back on my childhood, we never were without everything we needed. In fact, as the years went by, we started doing better and better. My mother made many sacrifices when we were younger in order for us to have a better life later on; and it was well worth it. That was the best lesson I learned from her. I have the best mother and I wouldn’t trade her for all the money in the world. I am blessed to have her and I cherish each and everyday I have with her!
In the spirit of mother’s day, make sure to leave your mom’s best advice she ever gave you (about anything!) in the comments below!

My mother has always offered great advice. One thing she taught my sister and I was to be ourselves and to love who we are. Thanks for the giveaway (^_^)

Excellent advice!
To spend time getting ready in the morning so that you feel good about yourself, but then once you leave the house to stop looking into the mirror. Once you’ve left, now begins how you can help people around you instead of just yourself.

Beautiful!
The piece of personal advice my mother gave me, that I really took to heart and follow every day, is to speak properly, with correct grammar.

That’s a good one too!
my mom is simple lady – no make up and no fashion worries. I learned from her to always checkout the clearance rack 1st.
