Growing up, my mother was a single parent trying to take care of three children on her teacher’s salary. There were times when we didn’t have very much, but my mother pressed on and made it work somehow. As I look back on my childhood, we never were without everything we needed. In fact, as the years went by, we started doing better and better. My mother made many sacrifices when we were younger in order for us to have a better life later on; and it was well worth it. That was the best lesson I learned from her. I have the best mother and I wouldn’t trade her for all the money in the world. I am blessed to have her and I cherish each and everyday I have with her!
In the spirit of mother’s day, make sure to leave your mom’s best advice she ever gave you (about anything!) in the comments below!

You can enter this giveaway through Rafflecopter now through Sunday, May 12th on any of the participating blogs.  Good luck and Happy Mother’s Day to all your mamas.

Good Luck!

My mom has always said that if you want to pick something up, youll have to be able to set it down when the time comes. She used to say it in relation to boys, LOL.

My mom has always been big on shopping the sales and making sure you get a good price for your items. If there is damage or a flaw don’t be afraid to ask for a discount!

I think the mest advice from my mom was to dig through everything in thrift shops, you’ll always walk away with something awesome at a super cheap price!

The best advice my mom ever gave me was teaching me to shop sales and not be scared of yard sales and thrifting because you never know what deal or treasure you will find!
